To inculcate practical experience on the part of students, the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities organized an industrial visit for B.TECH. (CSE/IT/CE/ME) students to NRC INDUSTRIES LIMITED, MUDHAL.

The industry mainly focuses on the manufacturing of rubber and steel cord conveyor belts. Students under the supervision of Dr. Neetu and Dr. Maninderjit Kaur went to NRC on 26-02-2022, where they briefed about the manufacturing of conveyor belts used in different industries such as thermal plants and airports. Plant manager, Mr. Amritpal Singh elaborated on different stages of the manufacturing process along with live demo.

The students have gained first-hand experience about the same. This visit provided a good valuable approach to the visiting students.
