Five Day FDP on ‘Cyber Crime and Forensic Tools’ begins
A five day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Cyber Crime and Forensic Tools” began in the campus on 8th May,2023.
The FDP which is to be held from 8th May to 12th May, 2023 is being organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Institute, a Remote Partner of National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh.
The programme is aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of the faculty members on the latest trends and techniques in the field of Cyber Crime and Forensic Tools.
On the first day of the Faculty Development Programme two sessions were conducted.
Dr. Mala Kalra AP, NITTTR conducted the session on “Cryptography Techniques for Securing Data” and Dr.
C. Ramakrishna, Professor CSE Department at NITTTR, addressed the participants on “Challenges in Cryptography.”
Over 40 faculty members are attending the FDP.
Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, as the Remote Partner Coordinator of Global Group Amritsar, initiated the inaugural session of the FDP and dwelt on the importance of the programme on “Cybercrime and Forensic Tools” and how it can help in our day to day life.
