Prof. Amit Hasija is a seasoned professional with rich and insightful experience of more than 20 years in hospitality industry. An able administrator and an educationist par excellence, Prof Hasija has contributed immensely to the proliferation and development of education in a career spanning over fifteen years. Having worked with the industry leaders as ITC Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi Marriott and Hotel Hans Pvt Ltd, Mr. Hasija has accumulated a vast professional experience in both, industry as well as academics. He has several firsts to his credit in his career spanning over fifteen years and has earned recognition for his exceptional services in the industry.

A post graduate in Hotel Management, he has graduated from one of the renowned Hotel Management schools in the region, IHM Panipat. After a highly successful stint in the industry for 8 years, he embarked on his teaching odyssey in the year 2006 and served in various reputed institutes at senior positions.

Meticulous and sincere, Mr Hasija has the flair for managing multifarious responsibilities with élan and poise. Being the Member of Board of studies PTU, he has been actively involved in the development of subject matter and examination procedures in the University. Mr Chandan Verma spoke on latest trends in English Language and their significance in making career.
He exhorted the students to work hard as there are no short cuts in real life.
As humans, we wish to achieve many things in life but these things need hard work to be able to achieve them.
He asked the students to do self Personality Analysis and work on their weak areas to enhance their communication skills.
Mr Sanjay explained that the employers now prefer employees who are willing to learn new skills and are ready to think out of the box. He mentioned all the modules that are included in IELTS and other English enhancers test He also discussed how one can learn English that too by innovative ideas.
It was an enriching session for students as well as faculty members and they highly appreciated it.

The main object of this activity was to make things learn to students by doing them practically.
Following topics (which are being taught theoretically) were included in this activity :
1. Combination of colors required in decorating the interiors of a room by giving them an option to mix different colors.
2. Importance of Trees in our life and organising Tree Plantation Drive.
Students participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm.

Historical Visit To Gobindgarh Fort

A Historical trip was organized for ATHM Students at Gobindgarh The main objective behind this trip was to provide knowledge about the history and other attractions of Gobindgarh Fort. In this trip student covers main attraction of fort known as “Sher e Punjab” – In which they saw 7D show based on the life of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Then they visit “Toshakhana Coin Museum”- Having a replica of the Kohinoor as it was worn by the Maharaja. After that there was a great arrangement for refreshment for the students.
