GLOBAL Institute Students Observe International Day Of Persons With Disabilities With the Inmates of Andhvidyalaya
NSS wing organised a visit for the students of the Institute to Andhvidyalaya on International Day Of Persons With Disabilities.
The students visited the School for Blind and interacted with the inmates.The Global Group contingent of faculty and students led by Dr. Monika Arora NSS coordinator and supported by faculty Ms. Rubinder Kaur and Ms Srishti Raj organised Singing competition, Dance competition and Computer Proficiency competition among the inmates of the School for the Blind.
The winners of these competitions were awarded prizes and were presented gifts on behalf of the management of the Global Group of Institutes.They were also served refreshment by the Global team and the students applauded and enjoyed the talent displayed by the inmates.
Their skills in different trades and dedication of the students despite their being differently abled, were highly appreciated by the students.
Dr.Akashdeep Singh Chandi,Vice Chairman of the Global Group of Institutes, lauding the initiative of the NSS wing of the Institute said that the management of the Institute is alive to its social responsibility and organise such visits on a regular basis with an aim to develop a sense of moral responsibility and compassion for differently abled members of the society.
