Blood Donors Enthusiastically donated Blood during Mega Blood Donation Camp organized at Global Institutes Amritsar

NSS Wing of Global Institutes organized a mega Blood Donation Camp in association with Rotary Club Civil Lines in which students and staff of Global Institutes Amritsar enthusiastically donated their blood and make this event a mega successful.
During this blood donation camp, doctors from Govt. Blood Bank had made all necessary preparations at the venue Hall, keeping in mind “Donor Safety Measures”. Every volunteer donor was given a physical checkup before donation by the Blood Bank Staff. All precaution were taken while testing the Blood group of the Students. This time, the Institute donors, Faculty donated around 200 units of Blood.
While interacting with the Blood Donors, Chairman Dr. B. S. Chandi said that Shortage of blood has created a mammoth problem in our Country. It is something which cannot be artificially produced or manufactured. Hence it can come from healthy donors.
Vice Chairman Dr. Akashdeep Singh appreciated the enthusiasm of blood donors especially students and awarded certificates to all the donors.
Director Dr. Rajesh Goel thanked visited members & colleagues of Rotary Club Amritsar Civil for making this blood donation camp a successful event.

Contribution in the Prime Minister National Relief Fund

The members of Staff of Global Institutes, Sohian Khurd, Batala Road, Amritsar have sent a cheque of Rs. 1,25,000/- as a token contribution in the Prime Minister National Relief Fund started by the Tribune for the affected people of Uttrakhand. The Vice Chairman of Global Institutes, while handing over the cheque, said that the whole Staff of the Institutes voluntarily and enthusiastically contributed the money for the rehabilitation of people of Uttrakhand. The Chairman of Global Institutes, Dr. B.S. Chandi said that Staff members of Global Institutes have always been at the forefront for the social cause like this and are always ready to help for the upliftment of the people affected by such tragedies as has happened in Uttrakhand.
